My name is Jennifer Chaplin. I’m a small business consultant with a deep passion for helping fellow small business owners both protect what they’ve built and grow with confidence. I come from a hands-on background—working directly under founders and entrepreneurs across industries like fine dining, landscape construction, landscape maintenance, catering, and private security. In each role, I became the go-to person for operational structure and clarity. Over time, I came to realize this was more than just a knack—it’s a gift I’m now using to support business owners like you. I’m also a lifelong learner. I’ve completed the SBA’s THRIVE program, a 6-month business planning course through the City of Yuba City and Chamber of Commerce, and countless hours of self-study through white papers, seminars, and real-world experience. Small businesses are the backbone of our state— did you know that over 90% of California businesses have fewer than 20 employees? That’s where my heart is. I’m here to empower and protect small businesses like yours — because a compliant business is a safer business.
